About IMGD

IMGD is a leading company in water supply management in Croatia. The main activity and specialty of IMGD is the technical testing and analysis of water supply system leak-tightness, along with repairs, installation, and maintenance of water supply systems.

Our goal

The goal of the project was to modernize the existing logo while retaining the recognizable colors and visual identity that the company has used for the past 30 years. Since their identity is deeply rooted and easily recognizable to clients within the industry, the focus was on bringing a freshness and a contemporary look to an already established visual system.

In addition to the logo redesign, we also created the initial website design and graphic promotional materials that align with the new, more modern style, while still preserving the brand’s core look and feel.

Logo

The new logo retains the key elements of the previous one – the same colors, the droplet, and the company name – but each component has been carefully modernized to reflect a more contemporary visual direction. The green color inside the droplet has been shaped into a stylized leaf, further emphasizing the company’s connection to sustainability, gradients have been removed in order to improve printability and modernize the logo, the letters continue to be geometrically structured and their parallel structure hints at water management. These factors together represent the brand’s three core meanings as shown on the logo; water, technology and ecology.

The typography has been upgraded to remain recognizable to users already familiar with the previous identity, but cleaner forms and subtle double lines were introduced to improve legibility and give the logo a contemporary, professional character.

The overall result is a balanced blend of tradition and modernity – a logo that preserves its history while simultaneously conveying the company’s progress, reliability, and forward-looking orientation.

Web Design

The goal of the webpage was to create a clean, modern and professional page. Pages were designed with hero images to catch the visitor’s attention which were then segmented with fluid sections and background decorations which helped convey the theme of water. The remaining design followed straight lines, strict grid structures and blocks to add an element of technicality and precision.
